Originator of the virginity tests had been ready to be called by the minister


TEMPO.CO, Jakarta: Head of Education Prabumulih Town, South Sumatra, HM Rashid claimed to be ready to meet the call of the Minister of Education and Culture Mohammad Nuh to clarify polemic virginity tests for high school students in the region.

Beware, LED Light Exposure Can Damage Eyes

The use of LED technology can hardly be separated from modern humans living today. Televisions, monitors, mobile phones are now starting to adopt this technology because it claimed to be more energy efficient.

But a researcher from Spain revealed that exposure to LED light in a certain period can result in damage to the retina of the eye.
Dr.. Celia Sánchez-Ramos from Complutense University, Madrid, Spain, stating that the light LED (light-emitting diodes) derived from the spectrum of light blue and purple with high energy radiation but bumpy pendek.Paparan LED directly to the eye can cause significant damage to the cell retinal pigment epithelial cells.
"If this LED exposure occurs continuously, from any media, then this can damage the retina of the human eye," he was quoted as saying by LiveScience.
This condition can get worse if exposure occurs when the LED is still a child. We have had a lot of kids who start using LED tech gadgets, so the risk of retinal damage increases.
"The eyes are not designed to stare directly into the light, but was designed to look at things with the help of light," said Sánchez.

The study has been published in the journal Photochemistry and Photobiology.
